How do I report fraud or cybercrime in the UK?
If you live in England, Wales or Northern Ireland, report fraud or cybercrime to Report Fraud or call 0300 123 2040. If you live in Scotland, report fraud to Police Scotland by calling 101.
How do I report a suspicious email?
Forward suspicious emails to report@phishing.gov.uk. Do not click suspicious links or download attachments if you are not sure they are genuine.
How do I report a suspicious text message?
Forward suspicious text messages to 7726. This is a free reporting service used by most UK mobile providers.
What should I do if I have lost money to a scam?
Contact your bank immediately using the number on the back of your card or inside your banking app. Then report the incident through Report Fraud or, in Scotland, Police Scotland.
Where can I get help if a child is at risk online?
If a child is in immediate danger, call 999. For online grooming, exploitation or child sexual abuse concerns, use the CEOP Safety Centre. Children and young people can also contact Childline for confidential support.
